Hi I live in a rural area and my water softner drains into sump line which exits out into a ditch.Worked fine for years but was wondering if somehow that water softner clogged drain lines? System is about 20 years old .Have set softner into by pass mode and drained sump directly to outside

Hi I was wondering if additional venting would cause mold to grow into interior ceiling? I had aluminum soffit installed on home installed on older home installed and there were extra holes drilled into wood soffit and now there is mold inside?

I would spray with WD40 to lubricate and disipate the moisture. Definitely the register would create problem trying to heat up room while cold from outside is creating frost.Check weatherstripping on door as well.

I would try food grade diamatceous earth .It dries the bug out and kills it.Its a white powder so it can be a bit messy. I combine mine with corn meal and sprinkle it around area where bugs might be.Be sure to use Food grade as it is non toxic to pets etc.Its fairly inexpensive and can be bought...

I used Borax and it worked fine. Leaves a white crust the next day which can easily be wiped off.
