My house is about 5 years old. On my lower roof, I noticed that there is a nail that is not fully hammered into the flashing. Should I just hammer it down? Or put some caulking on it?...

That's just rain water. the picture was taken not too long after some rain.

When it dries up, should I seal the gap? It looks like a pretty big gap with the stucco starting...

I noticed some wetness at the bottom of the patio door, inside of the house.

I guess it's because the bottom of the patio door is not sealed well enough...

By the way, does anyone know what kind of sealant it is on the side of the vent?

It feels a bit spongy to the touch. It doesn’t feel like the normal caulk at all…

Sealing outside vents and lights

Hi everyone

It would appear that the bottom part of an outside vent was not caulkedů

I have the same thing happen with a light mounted on the siding.

Just wondering what kind of sealant...

I see wasps crawling out of the bathroom vent on the upper floor of my home, so I think there is a nest somewhere in the vent.
