What is the best kind of bathtub to use that won't crack ? I've had 2 thin acrylic ones in the last 8 years that cracked. I really liked this American Standard one that is made thick but really didn't want to mess around with mixing fresh mortar to set it in like the install instructions call for.

I have the single speed multi tool from Harbor Freight and it would do that job with no problem. This tool is the best .:)
