I recently "inherited" a number of sample tiles in the Zodiaq and corian lines... is there a way to use them as regular tiles to create a table top/butcher block top?

the top switch (the one we're working on) only works if the bottom switch is on and there are 2 spare wires in the box that aren't connected to anything

prob is that the boys have tried thatand they still can't figure out which to wire to where on the new switch... The blues run hot depending on which way the other switch is flipped

1950 wiring- three way switch 2 blues and one orange- what is which!?!?

haha if i were in so cal i couldnt afford ANYTHING and would need to be hired on! BTW, anyone out there know about what it costs to level a 2 story house........ (future project in mind)

we're staining them- some of the woord is stain thanks to previous dwellers and I prefer darker floors anyway

i wish i was more artistic... i'd slap a few scrolls up on the wall with a lighter color and call it quits! haha

the swatch has a bit more pink- even if it is a mistint, i have no desire to repaint 2 coats of color on 3.5 walls....

I'm partial to hardwood.... classic, clean, rich.... Down here it really increases the appeal and marrket value of a home as well... carpet hold dust and moisture and allergens...

So ya'll know my husband and I are remodeling a 1950s apt... well, I chose (what I thought was) a deep burgandy/brick red color and now that its on the walls it appears a dark brown! What can I do to lighten it and add the red tint I was looking for? I've considered a glaze or even a wall...
