    Sorry, dont have digital, that would be great. see what I can do. If you can picture two toothpicks held together, one end shorter than the other, the short one has a curve on the end. The curved end is pushing up the floor sheeting causing a raise in the floor. Hope this helps.

    Thanks to those that responded to underlayment question. Confirmation is always good. Now, next situation. This is a pier/beam, 12” floor joist 16” center. I have a floor lift of about 3/16” in the floor sheeting in just one area, visible and can feel the rise when walking...

    backerboard under new cabinets

    I dont plan to. there is a consideration for the dishwasher, however, I can install tile in that space after cabs or installed.

    Have done a lot of reading here before signing on. Nothing worst than a DIYer doing home improvement on a house built by a DIYer. It is a learning experience and rewarding one when I overcome the obstacles. Thanks to the pros than offer good advice in this forum.

    backerboard under new cabinets

    I am renovating the kitchen installing new cabinets. House is pier/beam. finished floor will be ceramic tile or ?. Question is should I run the cement board wall to wall installing cabinets over this or install cabinets then run the bb to the cabinet base?
