Our house has a central vac system - older - ie: no low voltage to the hose connectors. Would it be possible to update the system? The can & motor are good, the plumbing is good. The power head is ... well ... could be replaced.(should). The pain is if we do the head had the 110 cord...

I've got 2 steps from the front sidewalk to the deck. It's not bad enough to be unsafe - just could look better and not bad enough to replace. Suggestion on how to jack it up. Thanks. c
