    Plug dishwasher into receptacle?

    I have a new dishwasher and the electrical cord will not reach the front of the unit. ( See Pic) Can I simply attach a regular plug so I can plug it into the GFCI receptacle under the sink?

    Cheater vent question

    Greetings, I noticed that I have a few of these vents in the crawl space next to the bathroom. There are vents like this one, all with black caps that are inside the crawl space. Do they need to be vented outside thru the roof? Thanks!

    Soffit baffles

    I have seen many images like this one that shows soffit baffles only a couple feet high. Seems that the purpose of ventilation is undermined. Aren't they supposed to go all the way to the ridge vent? If not, how long should the baffles extend?

    Insulating around a one piece shower
