Just did some measurements. This gap is exactly 2 inches. When we ordered the T-molding it says it is 2 inches wide, but when you measure it is just over 1 1/2 inches. Which is why we were not worried about these gaps at first.

We just bought a new home and installed laminate flooring. We are having a problem at the doorways. The T-molding is only 2 inches wide, and at a few of the doors the gap between the laminate and the carpet and tile is over 2 inches wide. We can't find T-molding that is any wider or that will...
