    Miterings not bad. Upside down and backwards. Start with practice pieces and experiment.

    Porter cable is a good brand. Keep in your not gonna use hard it every day. I've used an electric compressor for years. Don't recommend them for roofing guns. Good roofers kill them pretty quick. Walk into any big box and paruse the tool aisles. Always gets me excited.

I started with 3/4" pressure treated plywood, covered it with ice shield, ran 3/4" 1x4 pressure treated lathe strips every 16" parellel to the house and finished with 5/4 1x6 Trex.
