That's the one I watched when I was replacing my garbage disposal.
I had the same problem where the motor made a sound but the blades did not turn. My disposal was over 20 years old and was all rusty. when the power was off, I reached in and manually moved the blades around to see if they would move. They were movable and I cleaned out as much as I could, but it just wouldn't turn.
I ended up going with an Insinkerator Evolution 3/4hp Compact model. The benefit of that one is that it is lightweight and I was able to lift it with one hand (whereas the old one required me to lift it with both hands-- I'm not terribly strong).
If your old disposal does not have the romex relief clamp cable connector, make sure you get this:
It is NOT included with the new models. The size is 3/8". Also, the "spring like hose clamp" has a sharp end so I recommend using something soft over the sharp end when squeezing it to put it in place.
And while the instructions say to pull the snap ring open, it doesn't really work that way, you have to sort of slide it over on one side and then the other. If you pull too hard it can bend it out of shape and the part gets ruined. A replacement part is 27 cents but shipping is over $10. I managed to convince them to send me one for free, but it took 3 weeks because of Fedex idiocy.
You will also need to supply your own plumber's putty.
