Missing piece from side ?

Welcome to the site.
It was pieces of facia which is nothing more than a peice of 2x10 or something, primed with oil based primer all sides before it is put up. it should sorta match the facia in more obveous places around the house.

Someone wrapped the fashia with coil stock and either left the end piece off or it fell off.
There where suppost add a trianguler shaped piece of wood to the bottom of that rafter tail before wrapping so there's something to nail to.
