Can't imagine it would make a difference, but give Johns-Manville a call to get their take on it. I've only blown cellulose into an attic, and it was a dirty, 2-man job (one up top manning the "wild end" of the hose, the other feeding the bags into the machine down in the garage), but well worth it. House was noticeably cooler in summer and warmer in winter afterwards.
