Ok heres my problem 4 days ago smelled somthing burning coming from my vents,called ac guy. bad blower motor. o.k. no problem, bought new motor ,new capacitor, installed. {made detailed wiring diagram} flipped all appropriate switches motor turned for 15 secs., tripped breaker & smelled the same burning ......... HELP

Hello and welcome to the Forum Mike:
Do you still have the original blower motor? If so, put it and the new burnout together and check the manufacturer's plates on both to see if an equal motor was installed; same with the capicitor. Check the voltage to the motor to make sure a wire somewhere isn't burned into or almost. I have fixed a lot more wires than I have motors and capicitors. Wiring being OK there must be some physical drag on the motor but even with that it should run more than 15 seconds. I would bottle some A/C and send it to you but I'm afraid it wouldn't last in shipping.
