After two years of fussing with my furnace, it is now running properly thanks to greyfurnaceman on YouTube who pointed out that the positioning of the hot surface igniter is critical.
Anyway, when I was working on it I noticed that the gasket for the front cover that goes on the burner box is kind of deteriorated. It is a rubber brown material that is taped on. Anyone know what is recommended as a replacement and if it is critical?
Thanks!
Joe
