Last time I ran my Fisher & Paykel GWL15 washer it failed to drain. Dug up their service summary instructions and performed the drain pump test in the diagnostic mode. The result can be (sort of) seen in this short video. "Sort of" because I did not turn the camera right after I hit the REGULAR button on the washer to run the test. What you cannot see in this clip is that at the very beginning the wheel did turn about 1/4 of a circle. In the video you can see it's no moving. Plus water is dripping from I think inside of it.
A few months ago I followed the advice of this 3 part video ([ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gw2XfIXZNHw"]part1[/ame], [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6IHOaB2PUA"]part2[/ame], [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61YiTrivQIo"]part3[/ame]) to get rid of the awful screeching noise it was making. Except I treated the pump with WD40 instead of the lithium grease this guy used. It worked, then about a month ago the machine started to make a little bit of noise, then this happened yesterday.
Does this look and sound like the pump needs to be replaced? Or maybe fixed? Or something else wrong? Thanks!
