The thermocouple snapped off my water heater. I think part of it is still stuck inside of the unit, so I'm wondering if I can just epoxy the part the snapped off back in? My instinct is that it wouldn't be very safe to do so - but I just wanted to check in with people more knowledgeable about this.
I'm not exactly sure how to describe the pieces - please see the attached pictures.
