There is a new kid on the block in the form of a an eco-friendly plywood. this one uses far less formaldehyde than conventional products and we tell you all about it in this issue of ShortCuts. We also have some new definitions for familiar woodshop tools, a bendable new book and a drill with automatic transmission. Take a look!

Hello Graham:
Thanks again for all the valuabel information. I don't anticipate buying any of the bamboo plywood but I am proud of its regenerative nature.
I'm just sure I hav owned some of those tools you described, they sounded soooooo familliar.

Another nice feature of bamboo is that the mills can get some interesting grain patterns out of it. One thing I didn't mention is that your router bit must be very sharp or you may find that it scorches easily.
