Hi - Just had a new roof installed. Large double brick chimney is flashed with copper step flashing. Looked very good with brick. Roofing company removed copper step flashing and replaced with a black section of about 10 inch wide metal. Best part, placed against brick and set in place with large quantity of black sealant. Nothing else done, no fastener, no channel cut into masonry. Just glues in place. Will try to attach pic. Owner of company seemed surprised I was upset because that is the correct way to do it. Am I asking too much. Alot of $$ put into that 2.5 story brick chimney that looks terible. Pic upside down. You get it
