I have an old 4 ton air handler with heat strips, with a much newer outside compressor unit, not matched set. I want to replace with a new split system and do the work myself, with a little outside help as needed. Any advice and/or "how to's"? I will appreciate any input from anyone who has ever done this before. Thanks.
 
I worked for a commericial company before and if you know someone that works for a contractor that can just call in the order so you can pick it up on the counter with cash you will save !!!!! you can get a whole system for $1000-$1500 max! but you only need the air handler so.... if will be much less.
