I will be repainting a large room and the woodwork has peeling paint issues. How would you approach this? Sand it down or repair and paint over?
I've attached pictures to help with a solution.
Also, it's an older house and a hallway I'm repainting the woodwork. I feel it has too many layers of paint on it. If I add another layer I feel it's too much paint. How would you go about removing layers of old paint? Sand? Strip? Paint over again?
Thanks! I'm a painting newb trying to get it right.
