I am planning to tile up the bedroom in my house. The bedroom is within the lower level of the house so the floor is the cement foundation covered with some white paint.
I already tiled up the main room of that floor and it came out...ok...if you don't look too closely. So, this time I am seeking some advice before starting this project.
I will most likely be using 18x18 ceramic tiles, the room is about 250 - 300 sq ft. Last time I didn't use any grout, just plain adhesive and my floor came out somewhat uneven in some areas as I laid the adhesive on fairly, carelessly.
Any advice on how to ensure that my floor will come out even, what kind of adhesive to use and any other advice anyone can think of, any input will be much appreciated.
I am on a budget, wanted to hopefully keep the total cost under $500.
