The offset pipe is your handle. Synch it close to the beginning, push and turn, then repeat . Continue a few feet at a time until you break thru the stoppage.
 
That's a whole lot of snake for that type of auger.
Keep in mind when you twist the cable, both ends twist and you could end up with a birds nest on the floor behind you from all the twists.;)
 
my advice. get a garden hose, run it inside the hose, up to your work area


that way it can twist and flop with out damaging walls,

the hose will contain most of the yuck yuck
 
I would of said it was just a replacement snake for a drum auger.
