I live in a mobile home with a room that was added on a long time ago. Over time, long before I bought it, it looks like a tree root pushed up the center post of the frame.( see attached pic)

The park management removed the tree and now that the room is "exposed" they want me to level the room because the windows look crooked.

I suggested planting some high skinny fir trees, but they insist that the problem be fixed before I sell it, which is soon, I hope.

Any tips/suggestions on how to do it? My brother and I are going to try jacking up the corners slowly, but any more advice would be welcome.

Thanks.

Dave

I think it would safer to slide a beam under from side to side and place the jacks outside where it would be safer to work. Keep an eye on the plumping and don't over work the jacks, it will take some time to settle back.
