Hi everyone, I'm new and need some help. I just had a furnace guy tell me that I need a new ignitor. I'm letting him put in a new part. That's not the problem. I had originally thought that my flame sensor needed replacing as it looked corroded. He later said it probably would be good to replace it too, but then quoted me over 200.00 to replace the part. I told him that I would wait on that.

I found out that the original part number is

025-25434-000 for the flame sensor for York Stellar Hot surface ignition upflow furnace P1UC.

I can't seem to find an OEM part anywhere online. I thought I could call York directly, but have not had any luck finding a number for them...

Can it be this hard? I've seen that similar parts costs under 30 USD, and I know that I can replace it myself, even though I've never done so before.

Please help me, I have so many repairs in my house that I need to save money where I can.

Thank you, Katy
