You will see frost on the lines at the A coil above the air handler/furnace . Also Air flow will be reduced coming out of the vents.
Check the lines for a warm/hot feel on the small line and cool/cold on the larger copper line. Is the compressor running or just the fan on the outside? Cut power at the disconnect, wait 5 min and restore power outside. You should hear compressor run when fan starts.
