Not sure if this is the right section but in my shop which has an apartment above it that the P.O. never finished I want to put a fireplace in both the shop and the apartment. They can sit right above eachother but I have little experience in installing the chimney flue and don't know if they should share a chimney or make two separate vents? I plan on getting small wood burning stoves for both, they are fairly small areas. Shop is 1200 sf and apartment is 560 sf.
