I am kind of getting ahead of myself, but my wife and I close on a house Nov 18th...and the house does not have a garage. So...I am planning on a detached carport. Here is almost exactly what I want to build....the only change I would make to this is maybe is just flat tin as a roof, and I would be using pea gravel instead of a slab. I like the second version better....no side wall, but still use the back shed portion....Just wondering what type of cost I might be looking at for materials.....I am guessing an 18x24 would be about the right size. Input, advice, information, valium, zanax...
