So, there was a sudden appearance of droppings and fleas on the large deck. Driving everybody crazy.
We figured that a possum had found a way under the deck (mostly enclosed with an apron. The critter was coming out at night to forage the bar-b-que leavings, poop and then retire for the day in the shade under the deck.
Not wanting to go under the deck to confront a pissed off possum, we had to solve this issue.
How would you do it?
Here is what we did ...
1. Identify the entry point in the apron.
2. In the late afternoon, toss a flea bomb under a removed part of the apron, away from the opening Mr. Possum was using.
3. Spray for fleas on the deck top.
4. Seal up the entry point with new wood in the early morning.
Mr. Possum chased away, fleas dead (will be re-spraying to kill eggs and any survivors), waiting a week for the next bar-b-que
