I tried to post this earlier tonight and couldn't find it on the forum, so my apology if this is a repeat.
I have an old whirlpool that is between 15 and 18 years old. The model number is either WVE25000 or WUE2500, I can't tell whether it is a V or a U. The product was purchased in Canada. I can't find any reference to the model number anywhere on the internet. I would like to know how to remove the front panel. I not only want to remove the glass to clean it but also to replace the screws that have come out of the knob mechanism. The screws have fallen behind the glass and control panel. Even if I could find screws to replace the lost ones, I would still need to remove the glass and control panel to get them in. Can anyone offer help?
