I have some puck lights( round under the shelf type) in some kitchen cabinets that were there when we bought our house. They seem to omit a slight buzzing or humming sound. I assume it is from the transformer, is this normal or what could be causing it.

Usually the transformer is not near by. could be coming from the transformer. Do you know what all is connected to the circuit that the puck lights are on?

1. Voltage drop could be causing it!
2. bad connection!
3. bad transformer!
4. To many electronic devices connected to the circuit!

Puck lights are usually wired in series, so that a single switch will turn on an array of lights. Puck lights are small circular light fixtures containing small high-intensity bulbs. They are designed to fit neatly underneath shelves or cabinets so that they illuminate and highlight the objects underneath. They're widely used for curio displays, kitchen cabinets and bookcases.
