I have tub in a bathroom that I plan to remodel.

This is similar to the old one in it now, and something like this will go back in.

Without opening the adjacent walls in the other rooms, how do I go from the tub is in to the tub is out?

When I do the remodel, I plan on going all the way to the studs and wood in the entire bathroom.

depends on the tub,

if it is a cheapo plastic unit from home depot, cut it in half with a saw zall and throw it out the nearest window

if it is a cast iron tub, break it up with a sledgehammer and carry it out in pieces

if it is a steel tub, cut it in half with a saw zall

first, you strip the walls of the sheet rock, let all that junk fall into the tub, then clean it out

if it is nailed to the wall, pull the nails, disconnect the drain and overflow

if you do not want to bust the tub up, you will most likely need to pull the toilet to drag the tub out of the tub hole

pull the tub out, then stand it up, on its end, then dolly out
