Didn't know where to post this, but it does have to do with siding.

Basically I am flipping a small rancher that was built in 1980. It is in an up and coming neighborhood, but due to the community's culture, older (20s, 30s) houses are valued more, front porches are valued more etc.

I am looking for ways to make my house fit the neighborhood better. Any ideas are welcome.

Welcome to the forum.

Without seeing the house and neighboring homes it’s had to make specific suggestions. It’s a fine line IMO to give the house the feeling of fitting in without trying to make it into what it really isn’t. I would say it’s a case of a little bit can go a long way.

Being a flip everything has to be weighed out against what you will get as a return for your effort and cash.

Post some photos and you will get a lot of ideas I’m sure.
