Do you know that no house drains go under the floor? A line could have been broken by settling; even your water supply line.
Other than those two things we would have to consider a natrual spring. We never know where they will show up or where they come from; it often takes years for water to find a new path undergroundl

You guessed right, I did some more looking and I have a drain line that comes down and crosses the floor close to where the post is. There are no natural springs here so I'm guessing I have a leaky or broke drain line. All water supply is in ceiling. Thanks
