Hi, I have renovated most of my house and have just listed it for sale. One thing I never did renovate however, is the insulation in the attic and I don't want it to potentially hold up any sale.
It currently has insulation between the joists with vermiculite over top of the insulation.
I am wondering what my best course of action is at this point? Should I get the vermiculite tested for asbestos? Just leave it? Or pull it all out and replace with newer insulation?
I'm wondering if it's worth it to replace old insulation or would the R value not really be worth it?
Thanks in advance.
