Hi,
I have owned my house for fifteen years. It was a fixer when I bought it, and it STILL is! There always seems to be that last little bit of a project that doesn't quite work, and so it is left undone. Hopefully, that will change now that I have joined this forum!
I have just refinanced, and I now have some money to spend on home repairs and improvements. My house is of wood frame construction, and built in 1942. It is not very large, but I think it suits me rather well. The first floor living space is rather cramped. However, I have a half-finished attic, and an unfinished full basement which give me much room for storage and hobbies.
