Hi there, I am restoring the concrete floor on my house. When I bought the house, it had the concrete floor already, and it has no shine. Using an orange stripper and a buffer, I sanded a portion of the top, washed with a clean pad, applied a solution of TSP and washed again.
Now I am about to stain it. I tested for absorption and the floor does not seem to be absorbing water as it should. I wonder if there is still some old sealant on it but if so, how to work with it if I don't know whether it was solvent or water based.... I would like to apply an amber color and a high shine sealant on it. Would you have a suggestion for me?
Thank you,
Katia
