I am building a house by a builder and noticed the basement covered with poured concrete walls. But for the crawl space, There is no deep foundation and also they are using concrete blocks instead or poured concrete walls. Is it a code? I do see other neighbourhood uses poured concrete walls for both the basement and crawl space.
I was wondering is it different code for each neghibourhood or the builder is saving $ by using concrete blocks?
