Be careful when replacing it. Make sure you match the LINE connectors and the LOAD connectors. This is a simple task.
Turn off the breaker to that circuit.
Remove the old GFCI, making sure you identify the LINE wires (black and white).
Attach the LINE wires to the new GFCI.
Attach the remaining LOAD wires to the new GFCI.
Make sure you ground the new GFCI.
Restore power to the breaker and test the new GFCI.
