We are buying a home from the early 80's and need some decorating ideas. The main areas we want to focus is curb appeal and the main living area.
As you can see the front of the house has some funky roof lines. Besides painting where would we get the most bang for our buck?
As for the interior, we are planning on replacing the old carpet with wood flooring and painting the wood paneling. What sort of decor style would fit wit the existing river rock and early 80's architecture? We like craftsman, farmhouse and transitional styles and also live in a ski town so have some western rustic influence. But I don't want the inside to scream cabin and look really weird with the outside of the house.
Last thing, anybody know the architecture style you would call this?
TIA!
