Hello. My name is Joanne. I've used this forum a couple of times but just now registered.

I took a day off today to get some things done around the house. I am currently running PVC pipe from a downspout out to the edge of my property (only about 10 ft.).

I have the pipe all ready and just read the directions on the PVC cement can. The instructions said to avoid "pudding". I can't find a definition of this other than the dessert.

Can anyone help me out so I know what to "avoid"?

Thanks.

Just don't leave big drips of cement laying on the pipe.
Keep a few paper towels handy and wipe the excess off of the pipe.
The puddling they're referring to is the cement puddling on the surfaces of the pipe. It will make the pipe weaker.

Thanks Square Eye.

I've been so embarrased to come back to this site because I messed up. I've found out that the "pudding" I mentioned was really "puddling". I've picked up my new glasses since that time!
