Hey,

This weekend I will be installing 8" Wide Plank Hardwood Floors , 3/4" thick hand scraped on my main floor , living room, kitchen and dining room (open concept).

What would people recommend just nail or glue and nail??

If someone could give the pros and cons that would be great.

I am laying this over 1/2" ply.

What size nails or glue should I be using ??

Any help would be great.
Thanks in advance!

Rent a angled nailer gun from HD they can tell you exactly the right brand nails to use.

No glue, glue is if you install on concrete slab.

Rosen paper under the hardwood to prevent squeaks.

Your plywood needs to be underlayment rated like AC or BC ply.
