Concrete Crack Repair Kits

I'm buying a town home and the inspector pointed out some cracks in the basement wall and recommended a repair.

Has anyone used a DIY repair kit?

Any recommendations between using an epoxy vs. polyurethane?

I haven't seen a "kit" before. Just a few simple tools and the right kind of patch. I'll let the experts comment on the proper material.
