Well, nowadays, especially in California, white folks like myself are the minority. Should I still be concerned? Will Al Sharpton jump to my defense if I am harassed?

Having been trained in Desert Snow in the 1990's, and having a narcotic detecting K-9, I can assure you that the seizure rules have tightened up drastically in the last 10 years. Yes, seizures still occur, but nothing like it was back 20 years ago.
