Hi all, my downspout is going into a concrete pipe of some kind and I need to extend it. It seems like it would be hard to attach the plastic extensions to the concrete and make it water tight. I don't think I can shove the plastic extension up through the pipe and attach it to the metal downspout from the gutter.

Any suggestions?

Attached are some pics.

If you don't think you could chisel away some of the old pipe and concrete to attach new pipe at bottom you could just add downspout with a few elbos out and around the concrete and rock.

Shoving the pipe inside won't yield good results. The water will likely just by pass your pipe and continue out where is going today. If you could remove the one piece of clay tile and get the pipe on the outside of the clay tile you'd have better luck directing the water into your new pipe.

This might be useful.
