Venting a Small Hip Roof

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have any ideas about venting a hip roof on a 9' x 10' shed with a pitch of 8/12?

I was planning a ridge vent, but the ridge is only 13" long. I would like something with the least visibility. The back side of the shed will not be significantly visible, if that helps.

As to a vent with only a foot of ridge I wouldn’t mess around with ridge vent and I would put a single roof vent on the back side of the shed.

About the only option is a box vent as bud mentioned unless you lengthen the ridge a couple feet.
