So my wife and I are selling our house and the wood flooring is pretty dingy and scratched up. We're debating on having someone come in and professional clean, sand, stain it, but our realtor says not to bother. We're in a hot area in Seattle.
We would like to try and clean it up a little though. Can anyone recommend products for cleaning it? How about some wood oils? Stains?
Or, are we better off having someone come in and at least clean it professionally?
