Home depot has rustoleum in a quart size just thin it with lacquer thinner just enough to spray it. This is an single stage paint for better than the spray can. Be sure to primer it first. If you have some cash powder coat is the best way
I don't think Rustoleum is a lacquer based paint, I thought you thinned Rustoleum with mineral spirits?
