Default A good company washing machine

I need a new washing machine, my old GE of 14 years went out, should I get another GE or is there a better company in this field now?

I've had good luck with my 2009 GE. Still running great.

I would go to Lowes & buy the cheapest washer there, probably a Roper made by whirlpool. No doubt the best washer on the market(also Sears kenmore by whirlpool the same). They probably have them hidden in a back corner because they don't make as much profit of them.

We have 2 sayings in the appliance repair industry...

GE means Generally Expensive
Friends don't let friends buy GE
