I dont want to use a stain or any type of coating. I want it to be that bright natural wood. I dont want it to get moldy so does anyone know of some type of chemical to keep this from happening?

Deckman, you do know they have stain that is the color of "natural wood" right? Stuff works great! My buddy JJ used it on his deck and I never even knew untill I dropped somthing and you could tell it had a coat of somthing over it. Maybe you should give that a try.

Yes there are some kind of stains/coats that not only keep the natural color but it enhances they way the wood looks. I personally like to have a brownish wood for my deck and when applying this stain over it, it gives the wood a bright brown color with I love.

Thompsons water seal is a clear seal that keeps water out and wood looking great.

If you do not use a wood seal then that wood deck will warp.

Sanding, staining, and water sealing :D that is the best way to go :)
