Default Ceiling Fan Level Top Sconce

I have a living room ceiling fan; the top piece is not level to the ceiling. not sure if i can just push it up or do I need to loosen those two screws first? You can't really see it that well from the attached photo but there's a gap on one side and it looks a bit askew.

If you remove those screws the trim will slide down so you can see what the problem is, you might find the plaster is unevan.

Might be a loose mounting bracket screw. Tighten that up and the trim ring will then become even when reattached.
